About the role
Supervise quality and practice in the field — spot checks, coaching, and support that keep standards high wherever care is delivered.
Field Care Supervisors bridge office and community: observing practice, coaching carers, and feeding quality intelligence back into coordination and management. Josben Care uses safer recruitment: Stage A expression of interest, shortlisting, interview, then Stage B / pre-employment checks only for candidates invited forward. Responsibilities
- Complete spot checks and supportive supervision in the community
- Coach carers on dignity, recording, and care-plan adherence
- Identify training needs and escalate risk or poor practice
- Support investigations or complaints with factual field insight
- Model safer working and lone-working standards
Person specification
Essential
- Substantial adult social care experience
- Confidence giving constructive feedback
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (typical for field role — confirm)
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Supervisory or senior carer experience
- Level 3+ qualification in health and social care
- Experience with quality audits or CQC inspection readiness
